How to use Menstrual Cup?

a. FOLD & HOLD - INSERT MENSTRUAL CUP

Always start by washing your hands. Press the sides of cup together and then fold it in half. The cup should comfortably sit inside your vagina with the stem fully inside. When the cup is inside - it will pop open to create a light suction. The suction prevents leaks. You can use your finger to check if it is placed correctly.

b. WAIT UPTO 12 HOURS

For your first cycle with a cup, you'll have to do a bit of experiment to find out how long you can leave your cup in before leaking. It depends on your cycle and flow. It's recommended to wear a back up pantyliner.

c. REMOVE THE CUP

Wash your hands and gently pull the stem of the cup downwards until you can reach and grip the base of the cup. Use your muscles(pelvic) to push your cup travel further down. Pinching  the base to release the vacuum and makes it easier to remove the cup.

d. EMPTY & WASH THE CUP

When you have removed your cup, empty it into the toilet or sink, and rinse it with water. To clear the suction holes of menstrual fluid, bend the cup at the suction holes under the water. Dry your cup and re-insert.
